About Us
Little Minds Preschool provides an exuberant, nourishing, and enriching environment that caters to the individual needs of the child. As the first formal educational experience for our students, our program is designed to provide a lasting foundation of skills and positive attitudes to support a lifetime of learning.
Our curriculum awakens children’s imaginations to the limitless possibilities in life so that they are better equipped to face the future. Meet Our Teachers
Ms Maria – Area Manager
My name is Maria Rodriguez and as a mother of two adolescents, as well as an educator I am acutely aware of parents needs and wants from their children and more importantly from the care that is given to their child in their absence. Children have been a part of my life since 2000 when I got my first job as a Kindergarten teacher and in 2002 I can proudly say I got my first Directing opportunity. My philosophy is that learning should be enjoyable, meaningful and the least stressful environment for your child. It is also my philosophy to teach the whole child. By teaching the whole child, we are addressing the social, emotional, physical, cognitive and sensory needs through a developmental approach. I value the individuality of each child as much as you do. It is my intent to develop a classroom of children who can critically think and ask meaningful questions for themselves, rather than recite facts and imitate others. It is with these thoughts in mind that I actively involve my students in the learning process. I do so by providing my students with many opportunities to express themselves, make discoveries, solve problems and interact with their environment. It is in this way that I help your child develop mentally, physically and emotionally at the rate that is most comfortable. I am thrilled to be your Little Minds Preschool and Little Minds Infant Toddler Area Director.
Ms Virginia – Assistant Director
My name is Ms. Virginia. I am the Assistant Director here at Little Minds Preschool. I’ve had the pleasure to work for Little Minds Preschool for the past eight years and I had the opportunity to teach Preschool, Kindergarten, and School-age. Working with a variety of age groups, led to me to pursue my career in Early Childhood Education. As a mother of a 2-year-old, I’ve learned to value, care, and love. It is with these characteristics that I bring to the classroom every day. I love to have conversations throughout the year. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I would like to partner with you to best support your child. I’m looking forward to a great experience with you and your child.
Ms Pamela – Teacher
My name is Pamela Lopez. I have the privilege of being part of an amazing team working with school age children at Little Minds Preschool. I started working with children at 18 years old. I did some of my training at ROP Regional Center with a 1 year internship at their daycare center. I’m currently working on my child development certificate at UCLA Extension Program. I worked with children with disabilities for 3 years as a life coach and caregiver. Being part of a disabled child’s life was humbling. I learned new coaching techniques that have been useful in raising my own two children. I strive to create and maintain a safe environment where children can grow and thrive while exploring the world around them. Thank you for sharing your precious little ones with me!
Ms Cristina – Teacher

Ever since I took my first child development course, I felt passion to pursue this wonderful career! I have obtained my Child Development Associates degree from Rio Hondo. My ultimate goal for my classroom is to have an all-inclusive classroom where I will focus on the individual needs and potential of the student as well as their emotional, social, cognitive, physical, and spiritual development. Another goal of mine is to create curriculum that is relevant to the students’ lives such as their interests and the world we live in. My role as a teacher is to build a strong, unbiased, and knowledgeable class community. Thank you for letting me be a part of this incredible journey with your child.
